HOUSE DESCRIPTION<br>

This four-bedroom, 2-bath modified A-frame structure is built with redwood siding.  The interior area is 1,736 square feet, including a 350 square-foot office extension and a 58 square-foot balcony overlooking the living/dining area.  In addition, the front and side decks total 400 square feet, and there is also a 50-square-foot covered back porch.<br>

The house was designed to maximize an appreciation of the wooded mountain environment.  The <b>living/dining area</b> has 16-foot high windows and a wooden cathedral ceiling.  Long narrow windows on either side of the old-brick fa�ade (Heatilator) fireplace effectively maintain outdoor views throughout the entire living room.  Rough-sawn cedar trim is utilized to blend with the exterior naturally wooded surrounding.  The dining area is positioned to capture views of the fireplace and the valley to the east.  Every room (including the master bath) has at least one picture window with views to wooded or open areas.<br>

A few thoughtful enhancements include a weeping cherry tree over the side deck.  The front deck has a 500-gallon red wood hot tub with lots of privacy.  Also, stereo-speaker wiring is placed under the floors of the living/dining area and the office.  Stereo-speaker wiring also extends into the master bathroom. <br>
<br>
The 9 X 12-foot <b>kitchen</b> is equipped light oak ceiling-height cabinets and all appliances including dishwasher, rangehood, microwave oven, and disposal.  The kitchen was recently remodeled to include decorator wall tile.  Custom carpentry includes a built-in oak wine rack, spice rack, and bookshelf.  My French Cooking certificate does not convey!<br>

The 11 X 12-foot <b>master bedroom</b> has an 8-foot wide, space-efficient California closet.  The closet includes a TV shelf and is wired for cable.  A 5-foot wide picture window affords a wooded view.<br>

The 7-� X 11-foot <b>master bathroom</b> features decorator tile, brass fixtures, stereo speakers, telephone, over-toilet reading light, and a large picture window with wooded view.  There is also <b>second full bathroom</b>.<br>

<b>Three additional bedrooms</b> are by 10'-4"by 12'-6", 8'-9" by 10'-6", and 8'-8" 
by 10'-4".<br>

The 350 square-foot <b>office</b> extension features its own sliding-glass door entrance, a separate heat pump/air conditioner, utility/storage room, tile flooring, two phone lines, tract lighting, and windows on four sides including a 4 X 5-foot picture window.  The office affords a luxurious setting, conducive to thinking and productivity, and enhanced by sylvan views in four directions.<br>

The <b>utility room</b> (with washer/drier) has extensive shelved and cabinet storage space.  The furnace is a 1-� year old electric heat pump/air conditioner.<br>
