substance abuse problems, but they can often make
referrals. Another person to ask is a religious leader. Many
are trained to offer counseling and most will be able to make
a referral to someone else trained to handle substance
abuse problems. Other sources include hotlines, internet
searches, treatment locators, and self-help groups.
