starts in your stomach and intestines and it soon affects

brain. The initial use of alcohol may act as a stimulant and
produce feelings of relaxation and euphoria even though it is
actually depressing your nervous system. However, if you
continue to drink you will soon feel the depressant effects of
the alcohol. You will become less sensitive to pain,
increasingly drowsy, and your senses will be dulled. If you
drink a large enough quantity of alcohol, you can depress
your brain and body functions so much that you blackout,
become unconscious, fall into a coma, or even die.
