<strong>Feb 5</strong> – Announcement to Swiss Community at Swiss Club Fondue Event <br>

<strong>March 4</strong> – Announcement to French Speaking Community at Alliance Française <br>
<br>
<strong>March 21</strong> – Swiss Lecture/Panel Discussion at Alliance Française – Francophonie Event<br>
<br>
<strong>May 1</strong> – Opening Celebration of 150th – May 1, 1872 - Foundation of Association (Notarized articles of Incorporation in Illinois, August 14, 1872) Brunch/Lunch with the launching of a locally brewed SBS-Swiss Beer that commemorates the the first commercial brewery in Chicago, established by Andrew Sulzer and William Haas in 1833. (Chicago is incorporated as a town in 1833 with a population of 200) <br>

<strong>June – August</strong> – Family Activities – Discover Chicago and Swissness, Open House at Chicago History Museum and participation in organized activities - City on Fire: Chicago 1871. <br>

<strong>July 30 – Aug 1</strong> Picnic with Swiss Brew as the Beer of the Year - organized by the Swiss Club <br>
<br>
<strong>August 3 or 4 - Aug 1</strong> Swiss Independence Day Celebration sponsored by Swiss American Business Council <br>

<strong>Sept - Nov</strong> – Exhibit at Sulzer Regional Library – Swiss History, Business Contributions and the Swiss Benevolent Society <br>

<strong>Oct 10</strong> – Closing Event commemorating the Great Chicago Fire (Oct 8 - 10, 1871) <br>
