<p class="main"><b>Chicago, IL - March 22, 2004</b> - Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is pleased to announce that it has partnered with senior management to complete the recapitalization of Midwest Dental, Inc.</p>
<p class="main">Midwest Dental, Inc. is a leading dental practice management company providing general dentistry services through 28 dental offices in Wisconsin and one dental office in Minnesota. Midwest Dental provides a traditional small office setting with a focus on rural and suburban markets. Midwest Dental is expanding its office network through the acquisition of dental practices in the Midwest.</p>
<p class="main">In December 2001, Bayview Capital Partners LP and Midwest's management team acquired Midwest from Monarch Dental Corporation. In the two years following the buyout, management and Bayview grew revenues and profits by reestablishing Midwest as an independent organization, shifting its payor base from managed care to fee-for-service and expanding its footprint through acquisitions. In late 2003, Bayview was interested in achieving liquidity for its investors and management was interested in finding another financial backer capable of supporting its growth plan. Clearly Gull Inc. was hired to achieve both of these objectives. "Ultimately," said Midwest CEO Yvonne Mayberry, "Svoboda, Collins was selected as the right partner to back management based on our shared values and their relevant experience in the middle-market."</p>
