<h1 class="main">Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. Promotes Alex R. Miller to Principal</h1>
<p class="main"><p class="main"><B>CHICAGO, June 19, 2002 </b> - Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Alex R. Miller has been promoted to the position of Principal. Alex joined the firm as an Associate in May 2000. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and leading recapitalization, buyout and growth equity investments in value-added distribution, business services and consumer companies that fit SC's investment profile. Alex currently has investment management responsibilities for a number of SC portfolio companies including In The Swim, Milestek, and World Data Products.

<p class="main">"Alex has made substantial contributions in a number of areas for SC in his two years with us, and we look forward to his contributions for many more years," mentioned both John Svoboda and Michelle Collins.
</p>
<p class="main">Prior to joining SC, Alex spent three years as a strategy consultant with Boston Consulting Group, Inc. in Chicago and Zurich, Switzerland. Alex received his BA in History and BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame ('92) and received his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business ('97).
