<h1 class="main">Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. Announces an Equity Investment in Epotec, Inc.</h1>
<p class="main"><B>CHICAGO, November 18, 1999</B> - Svoboda, Collins today announced that it has made a $1.8 million equity investment in Epotec, Inc. ("Epotec"). The Svoboda, Collins investment was part of a $12.5 million round of financing led by Sprout Group, the venture capital affiliate of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. Epotec will use the new funds for sales and marketing and additional product development.</p>
<p class="main">Founded in 1997 and based in Wilmington, DE, Epotec is a leading provider of internet-based behavioral health products and services. Epotec provides interactive content and technology to facilitate electronic communications and transactions between employers, employees, behavioral health organizations and individual providers.</p>
<p class="main">Epotec's web-based behavioral health service system offers online information, self-assessment and self-help programs for individuals, with more than 50 programs in areas such as mental health, personal development, communication skills and parenting. In addition, there are online administrative management services for provider health organizations and health plans, including a resource section which can detail the employee's benefits, communicate changes in coverage and distribute news about work site services.</p>
<p class="main">Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is a $150 million private equity fund established in 1998 to identify, invest in and build excellent service and distribution companies. </p>
