<h1 class="main">Michael Bruns joins Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. as a Summer Associate</h1>
<p class="main"><B>CHICAGO, May, 10 1999</B> - Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Michael Bruns has joined our firm as a Summer Associate. Mr. Bruns has joined Svoboda, Collins from Harvard Business School, where he will earn his MBA in June 2000. Mr. Bruns will help source and evaluate investments in information technology services companies. </p>
<p class="main">Prior to attending Harvard Business School, Mr. Bruns spent three years at Waterstone Consulting, L.L.C., an information technology consulting firm. Mr. Bruns was a Principal at Waterstone and one of its initial employees. Prior to joining Waterstone, Mr. Bruns spent three years as a consultant at Andersen Consulting, L.L.P., focusing on the telecommunications and financial services industries. Mr. Bruns is a 1992 graduate of the University of Michigan with a BBA in Finance.</p>
<p class="main">Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is a $150 million private equity fund established in 1998 to identify, invest in and build excellent service and distribution companies. The firm is focused on making equity investments in small to medium-sized growth companies with revenues and pre-financing valuations between $20 and $200 million. Within this range, investments are likely to include (1) early stage financings of innovative businesses with compelling business models; (2) financings of established companies with proven business models for growth or liquidity purposes; and (3) management buy-outs and recapitalizations of larger, more mature companies. SC will not require control in its investments, but will generally require an ownership position of at least 20%. SC will typically invest $2 to $10 million of equity in each transaction. For larger transactions requiring additional equity, SC intends to potentially draw on its limited partners, or to partner with other private equity groups.</p>
