<h1 class="main">Michael J. Iannelli joins Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. as Principal</h1>
<p class="main"><B>CHICAGO, March, 22 1999</B> - Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Michael J. Iannelli has joined our firm as a Principal. Mr. Iannelli will help source, evaluate and lead investments in companies that meet our investment profile, with an emphasis on business services companies. </p>
<p class="main">Prior to joining Svoboda, Collins, Mr. Iannelli spent five years at William Blair & Company, L.L.C. as a member of the Corporate Finance Department in its Business Services Practice. He advised middle-market companies on a range of transactions, including private financings, public offerings and merger transactions. Representative clients included ProBusiness Services, Iron Mountain, OneSource Information Services, UniFirst Corporation, Payco American Corporation, Consolidated Communications and Barnett, Inc. Prior to joining William Blair & Company, L.L.C., Mr. Iannelli spent a summer at Triumph Capital Group, a Boston-based private equity firm, and was an Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. in the Investment Banking Group from 1989 to 1992. Mr. Iannelli received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1994 and his BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1989.</p>
<p class="main">Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. is a $150 million private equity fund established in 1998 to identify, invest in and build excellent service and distribution companies. The firm is focused on making equity investments in small to medium-sized growth companies with revenues and pre-financing valuations between $20 and $200 million. Within this range, investments are likely to include (1) early stage financings of innovative businesses with compelling business models; (2) financings of established companies with proven business models for growth or liquidity purposes; and (3) management buy-outs and recapitalizations of larger, more mature companies. SC will not require control in its investments, but will generally require an ownership position of at least 20%. SC will typically invest $2 to $10 million of equity in each transaction. For larger transactions requiring additional equity, SC intends to potentially draw on its limited partners, or to partner with another private equity group with similar objectives.</p>
