<h4>Recitals</h4>
<p>Steckman Studio of Music has two all school recitals each academic school year. A minimum of 2 (often more) small recitals are offered in addition. There is no charge for recitals. Students are asked to bring a snack to share.
</p>
<h4>Competitions</h4>
<p>Steckman Studio of Music takes part in two National competitions. The National Federation of Music Clubs Jr. Festival held in March and The Granquist Music Festival held in June. There is a fee of $30 to participate for music and entree fees.
</p>
<h4>Ages</h4>
<p>Below age 4 a teacher would be using the Suzuki method of teaching which would require complete parent participation. By age 5 a mixture of teaching styles is common to introduce a more traditional method involving note reading.
At younger ages a teacher may suggest a shorter lesson time. Rates would be prorated.

<p>Steckman Studio of Music is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with the mission to share the joys and benefits of music with students of all ages regardless of financial circumstances.
