<p style="margin-bottom: 0;"><font face="Century Gothic">For 38 years, The Candlelight Tour has been one of Havre de Grace's
most treasured Christmas traditions. Soon after the founding of the
Lock House Museum in 1973, a group of museum volunteers led by
Madeline Shank, Norma Montgomery, and Virginia Colburn decided
to create a holiday event to showcase our City's rich history.
Since then, The Candlelight Tour has featured homes of historic
interest and character and, over that time, owners of our City's
most prominent homes have opened their doors to the people of Havre de Grace.<br>
<br>
This year's tour homes are both historic and new -- each displaying the
character of Havre de Grace in its own way. Also included are the
beautifully-restored Banque de Fleuve, The Grace Reformed Episcopal Church,
and three of our most beautiful Bed and Breakfasts. For the first time, this
year everyone attending the Tour will be invited to a closing gathering of
Christmas carols and refreshments at the Vandiver Inn.<br>
<br>
We hope you'll stroll through our historic, luminary-lit streets on
December 12th and experience the warmth and charm of Havre de Grace by
attending the 2010 Candlelight Tour. <br>
