I know that there are many orphans and disabled children in Russia who need our help and RCWS’s "Let’s Give Beauty Back to the Children" program is designed to help those who are coping with facial deformities. Growing up in Moscow, Russia, I was dreaming about becoming a movie star or an artist. These children are dreaming about being healthy, having friends and being beautiful again. It is wonderful to see such a large group of beautiful people here supporting this cause. Let’s enjoy tonight and please remember that all of the proceeds from the auction and the whole event will benefit children with severe medical problems in Russia. We can make a difference. Thank you!

Depesha is a bi-annual contemporary Russian culture magazine at the intersections of fashion, art, literature, and politics. Published in New York, it projects the world of style and culture through the lens of Russia’s dueling personalities: tradition vs. progress, the elite vs. the masses, and the official vs. the subversive. Its timeless design, dual language columns (English/Russian) reflect the long-term relevance of each issue — we believe it is a magazine that lives on past its publication date, and the information it contains will entice readers to revisit it again and again.
