<td rowspan="3"><p>This May, Anna visited the Moscow Center for Maxillofacial Surgery in Moscow. RCWS partnered with this hospital and <a href="http://www.rusfond.ru/" target="_blank">RusFond</a> to assist orphans and children from <nobr>low-income</nobr> families who are in need of complex maxillofacial surgeries. Average cost per surgery is in the range of $2,500 and $5,000. The Moscow Center for Maxillofacial Surgery has a long list of children in need of medical assistance. It is by far the best hospital in Russia for pediatric surgery and they treat children from all 89 regions of the country.</p>

<p> <img src="images/nycmarathon_11/chuprova_rusfond.jpg" alt="Ksenia Chuprova" align="left" height="315">Ksusha, from Smolensk region of Russia, was only 3 months old when a tumor started growing on her nose bridge. Preliminary diagnosis as a Lipoma, a <nobr>slow-growing</nobr> fatty lump (tumor) that’s most often situated between the skin and the underlying muscle layer, Lipomas tend to run in families.</p><p>Presently, Ksusha is 7 months old and as she is growing, so is the tumor. Ksusha requires surgery, which her <nobr>stay-at-home</nobr> mother and father who works at the juvenile detention center can’t afford. The sooner the surgery is performed the better Ksusha’s prognosis for full recovery and the less cosmetic defect will be noticeable on her little face. Please help bring happiness, beauty and health back to baby Ksusha by contributing towards her surgery.</p>
