Metal buildings have come a long way since the original quonset huts of the 1940's and today are widely used and accepted by architects, engineers and contractors as a cost effective and attractive way to construct anything from warehouses to low rise office complexes to municipal and institutional facilities. </P> <P>One of the oldest, largest and most recognized manufacturer of metal buildings is Varco Pruden Building Systems, or VP Buildings as they are now known. Pioneer Builders has been a Builder/Dealer for VP Buildings in this area since the early 70's. We are proud to be the oldest VP Buildings Dealer in Maryland. The benefits of our long and successful relationship with VP Buildings are passed on to our clients with competitive pricing and factory support second to none.</P> <P>Andrews Air Force Base, MarylandPioneer Builders places a strong emphasis on the portion of our business that deals with metal buildings and they represent an ever increasing percentage of our yearly sales volume. We have made considerable investments of time, resources and money to completely computerize all of our in-house design, estimating and shop drawing preparation of our metal buildings.
