Start Times</b></font></p>
<blockquote>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">Two one-hour
sessions will be held this season. The first session, primarily for
9 and unders (Levels 1 through 4) will
run from 4:25
pm through 5:25 pm. The second session, 9 and up (levels 4 through
7) will run from 5:30 pm through 6:30 pm. If
you are unsure of your child’s level or session time, please
contact Florence.</font></p>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">Swimmers should be on the swim deck ten minutes prior to their respective
start time in order to commence stretching and be ready promptly to
enter the water on the half-hour.</font></p>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">We have been asked by the FAC staff to advise swimmers in the 5:30
session to depart the Center by 7:00 pm, in order to accommodate closing
the facility, which closes to the public at 6:00 pm. Everyone in the
latter hour will also need to exit the center via the doors adjacent
to the leisure pool, as the main exit doors will be closed. </font><br>

<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3"><b>First Session</b></font></p>

<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3">At the first
session on January 5th, a Streamline
Aquatics representative will be at the front desk to
assist with check-in and
direct swimmers to the locker rooms and parents
to
the bleacher area. Please arrive 15 minutes early for the first session.</font></p>

<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3"><strong>NO
Swim Dates-</strong></font></p>
<blockquote>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">There will
be no practice due to holidays and FAC swim meets on the following
dates:(</font><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3"><strong>19 Jan, 2 Mar, 20 Apr, 4 May- 2014</strong></font><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">).
These
dates
are also
posted on the Streamline Winter Swim web-site calendar.</font></p>

Swim Gear</b></font></p>

<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">Please
note that swimmers will need swim fins for our program. I prefer
the shorter
fins for our levels 5 and 6. Please get the flexible kind
made for competitive swimmers. The closest store are Riptide Tri and
Swim in Gainsesville and Aardvark Swim Shop in Chantilly on Willard
Rd. (just past the post office on
the right). You can also find them on the internet through companies
like SWIM2000.com or Kiefer.com (order with a friend and save on shipping!).
</font></p>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">We highly
recommend wetsuits for the young kids who have low body fat and tend
to get cold. The Freedom Center keeps their water temperature
around 80 degrees which is cool for most little kids. You can find
those at most swim shops as well. </font></p>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">All swimmers
are expected to have their own goggles at each practice. Please mark
all your belongings
with permanent markers as item are
frequently left behind after practice and many kids have
the same equipment. </font></p>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3">Please
email me if you have any questions on swim gear. </font></p>

<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3"><strong>Time
Trials-</strong></font> </p>
<blockquote>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3"> We’re
planning to have an opportunity for the children to swim for
times this winter. The Time Trial is tentatively April 28th. We’ll
need parents, timers, etc. Thanks in advance!<br>

<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3"><b>Freedom
Aquatic Center Rules</b></font></p> <blockquote>
<p><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3">Swimmers,
parents and other family members are asked to abide by all Freedom Aquatic
Center rules. This includes:</font></p>
<ul><li><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3">Swimmers
must refrain from usage of diving boards, leisure pool, whirlpool,
and other recreation areas during session. </font></li><li><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3">Parents
and other family members accompanying swimmers are not allowed on
the swim deck area.</font></li><li><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3">Parents
and other family members accompanying swimmers who are not facility
members or paying guests must remain in bleacher section and are not
permitted to participate in center recreation activities.<br>
</font></li><li><font face="Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif" size="3">An adult
must supervise swimmers in locker rooms at all times.<br>
