We worship together as a congregation on Saturday evenings (6:00 p.m.) and
on Sunday mornings (10:15 a.m.). The Eucharist is celebrated weekly at each service.

The order for our worship is based in the traditional liturgies of Christian
worship as historically celebrated by Lutheran congregations. The musical settings
for our worship use Evangelical Lutheran Worship as a major, but not as an exclusive,
resource. The Saturday evening service is frequently a bit more simplified and
casual in atmosphere.

At the weekly Eucharist (Holy Communion) we understand that we are guests at the Lord's
Table and that Christ is our host. We understand further that in the bread and wine
of the Holy Communion, Christ gives himself for the forgiveness and the nurture of
his people. All baptized Christians are invited to receive the sacrament at
our celebration.

The leadership for our worship together includes not only the pastor but laity
who serve as assisting ministers (liturgists) and lectors and, of course, our
choir, music staff, ushers, acolytes, and greeters among others. We understand that
worship and liturgy are indeed the "work of all the people of God".

Children and youth are welcomed and included in our worship, and the pastor
includes in worship a special time and message for the children.

Following the Sunday morning worship we gather as God's family in fellowship
in the narthex and enjoy coffee and light treats. (We are a Lutheran congregation
after all! :) )

Redeemer's Sanctuary a place to worship in awe and gratitude!

The Church is always the people, but our worship space is designed to inspire us, to fill us with delight in sights and sounds, and to offer us sacred space to praise, to pray, to sing, to worship... and to breath! Our worship space has several focal points to elicit our attention, and to remind us who we are, and whose we are!

We enter the worship space through the narthex: a place of welcome, of gathering, of preparation, and of fellowship.

Upon entering the worship center, the very front of the sanctuary, called the chancel, is the place we center our attention.

The free-standing altar at the front, adorned in beautiful paraments (whose color changes with the church seasons)
is at once the table of the Lord where the sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated,
and also a reminder of the tomb in which the body of our Lord rested for three days.

Immediately over the altar is the free-foating cross, vacant of Jesus’ body, a reminder again of his saving death,
and glorious resurrection.

Behind the altar itself, the stunning reredos, the colorful granite image of the descending Dove, Holy Spirit,
and the flames of the gifts of the spirit given to all.

At the base of the steps leading up to the altar, the baptismal font, the river of life, the place of our birth of
salvation.

We are surrounded by symbols of faith, symbols that speak to us beyond words, yet fulfilling for us our deep needs
of knowing the presence of God among us beyond all telling.

And after our worship is complete, and we are sent out to serve the world, our attention is transported upward,
to the glorious stained glass window cross, a brilliant mosaic of reds, blues, and shimmering light:
a vision of heaven before us, preparing us for the amazing glories to come when we all are One in Christ!

Join with us in worship!
