<p>
Women of Redeemer is the congregational women's group, part of the Women of the
ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America), whose Purpose Statement gives the
organization guidelines, leading to global thinking and action as well as to
local needs. The Women of Redeemer has a long history with the congregation
and was already in existence during the years of The Lutheran Church in
America, one of the predecessor bodies of the more recent ELCA.
</p>
<p>
Most gatherings are in the evening (7:00 -9:00 pm) on the third Tuesday of the
month in Fellowship Hall, lower level of the church. The Program Booklet for
the year is available each September, with definitive dates, times and
participants.

A Planning Meeting<br>
Come to help with decisions about the future of Women of Redeemer. Some possibilities include:<br>
1) Continue as usual, but with new leaders.<br>
2) Reorganize with fewer meetings (4 or 6 per year).<br>
3) Join with women of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church on Ott St. in Allentown.<br>
4) Develop a whole new organization revolving around a Book Club or an activity of choice.<br>
