<p>Our Lord, in his parting words to his followers as recorded in Acts 1, 
instructed us that we should be witnesses to him "in Jerusalem and in all Judea 
and Samaria and to the end of the earth."  We understand that commission to mean 
that our witness is to begin with our local congregation and community, but that 
our witness does not end until it has reached the far corners of the earth.</p>
<p>In light of that commission we at Redeemer are committed to a witness to Christ 
within our congregation, our community, our area, and our world.</p>
