<p><b>Mark Rosenfelder</b> is a writer, translator, and computer programmer, educated at Northwestern University, in Evanston, Illinois, USA. He is the author of more than ten books, among them <i>The Language Construction Kit, The Conlanger’s Lexipedia</i>, and <i>The Syntax Construction Kit</i>.
<p><b>Lida Rosenfelder</b> is a translator and editor, who studied at the University of Illinois, USA, and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Her work has been published both in English and Spanish. Among her clients are professors of Anthropology, Linguistics, Psychology, Ethics, and Business, as well as physicians, social workers, lawyers, and non-profits.

Translations: $10 per double-spaced page
<br/>Editing: $5 per double-spaced page
<p>We will translate diagram text or captions, but the author will be responsible for updating the illustration. Alternatively, if we are given Illustrator files, we can create translated versions for an additional fee.

<h3>What does translations and editing for academic and professional journals mean?</h3>
These are articles that follow the style rules imposed by the particular journal. For example: use of the active or the passive voice, use of particular pronouns.
<h3>What is a well-written article?</h3>
Following academic rules, a well-written article is properly outlined. It has brief, concise paragraphs, and simple and short sentences that carry a single idea only. It is precise in its findings and reportings, and has a clearly stated conclusion. There is no room for wordiness in an academic paper, but a premium on conciseness and precision.
<h3>Poorly written articles</h3>
If an article is poorly written, we will ask the writer to review and resubmit the manuscript. Editing services are available at the rate listed above.
