</I>Here's something that might interest some of you. Then again, it might interest none of you and tick off quite a few of you. But I don't care. <BR>

I actually took the time to translate the poem from LotR referred to by it's first line, "<I>A Elbereth Gilthoniel</I>," into Tigerian.<BR>

In the original Sindarin, it goes like this:<BR>
<BR>
<B>A Elbereth Gilthoniel, </B><BR>
<I>O Elbereth Star-kindler</I><BR>
<B>silivren penna m�riel</B><BR>
(<I>white) glittering slants down sparkling like jewels</I><BR>

</I>Note that this is a rough translation and uses many words that I had to create as I went along, all of which are however at my site. You can do with this what you want, pick it apart linguistically, translate it however you want to translate it, or even mock it. I don't care. Just thought it was interesting.<BR>
