In my opinion, Swedish r's never disappear. But in the Swedish of
Sweden, the r before s, t, d, l, and n tends to fuse with the following
consonant into a retroflex sound. This is not usual in the Swedish of
Finland, actually it is something we usually mimick in Finland to poke
fun at Swedes.
