Of course, the French elements in Verdurian are rather obvious: <b>syel, uazo, cör, zhen</b>, etc, not to mention grammar.
<p>*I* for one have noticed Kebreni <b>neko</b> "cat" presumably from Japanese, and <b>natu</b> which in Mark's pronunciation is very similar to the English verb not!

'small boy', among others. And I just came across <b>melah'</b> 'king',
which shouldn't be hard to recognize.
