Mark, if you understand that sentence now, can you tell me what it would be in
correct Verdurian then?

Mark responds:

Sure. For reference, the sentence is "That's fine; but if all parties want it, why hasn't it been done yet then?" I'd write E dobre; ac esli tësî fakoi iler vulcelü, prokio ya rho fashshu?

Some minor points:

I used the conditional (vulcelü) insteaad of the indicative (vulü) because the esli-condition is possible but not certain-- you're expressing some doubt that the parties do want it.

I used iler for the 'it' that the parties say they want, assuming
that it's an abstraction. If it literally refers to the two things the parties
promised in the previous sentence, cam 'them' would be better.

fassec, like kies, has an understood object, which is why
I gloss it 'to do that'. In linguistic terms, it's an anaphor for
an entire VP, not just a verb.

Don't let this discourage you... I'm only pointing this stuff out because you did ask about correctness. Unlike, say, the Kebreni, the Verdurians are
quite used to odd accents and errors, and won't jump on you for them!
