I'd like to say that I, as a speaker of Portuguese, can notice lots and lots of portuguese stuff in Verdurian. From the vocabulary to the phonology. 'zh', 'sh', 'në', 'lë', 'r' - all those sounds are characteristic in Portuguese. Besides, the words 'avo', 'Verduria', cadhinor 'DORMIR', the pronoun 'tu', inflections of 'esan' (like 'e'), etc. are all very Portuguese. That makes me love even more that language lol !!! Ad onlelán!!

creating most of these things. It must be fate. :)
<p>Not least of the reasons I'm fond of the language: when I was dating
the woman who would become my wife, we spoke half in English and half in
Portuguese. (I didn't know Spanish at that time.)</i>
