<b>Don't tell other people this URL.</b> You can reveal any of this information
you choose, but you have to do it within the game.
<p>You were a member of <b>Elrei</b> for about a year, mostly doing
violin and breaking and entering. You left because you really wanted
the band to move into jazz fusion and safecracking.
<p>The <b>modus operandi</b> of the band is simple: only five or six of the band
appear onstage at any one time, plus two backstage as security. The rest
of the band mingles with the crowd, picking pockets. They don't rob the
innkeeper... they want to be invited back, after all.
<p>They usually don't get attacked: some sort of magic is involved
that disorients the spectators, who tend to attack each other instead.
The same magic allows the band to evade pursuers.
<p><b>Location</b>: When you were with the band, they lived in Ulian,
a medium-sized town several days south of Verduria, along the Svetla river.
But after an incident where an innkeeper who didn't want to pay their fee
ended up strangled with guitar string, the band moved to a nearby cavern.
You're not sure exactly where it is, but it's somewhere in the Kellyde Forest
south of Ulian.
<p>Who are the bears? Well, the forest is a royal domain; the bears are
the park rangers. They are real bears, though talking ones.
<p>The band has two <b>co-leaders</b>, Esto Frondo on rhythm guitar and daggers,
and John of Elsewhere on lead vocals and petty larceny. Esto's girlfriend
Loncai Macrey is cute in a goth sort of way, as well as being a formidable assassin.
The head of security, Zolges Peleon, is also worth watching out for,
as is the bass guitarist/burglar, Fatandor of Vyat.
<p>Besides these and yourself, there were 7 other members, including 3 women.
<p>You are not on good terms with any of the band any more.
If you met some of the minor members alone,
they might be willing to talk to you, but all the major members have suggested
that if you value life, you won't get in their sight.
<p>You're not sure if it's the source of the band's magic, and you've never seen it,
but it possesses
a potent magical item which once belonged to Hurtlefark the Malingering.
<p>Your <b>possesions</b>: You own some nice black leather armor-- the studs and
zippers add an extra armor class-- a dagger, safecracking tools, and a set of throwing darts.
These are somewhat tricky to use-- if anyone but you throws them they're likely to miss.
You still have your violin. You also have a horse, though it's rather a cheap one.
You have some jewels and about 200 g.p.... you used to have more, but you tend
to dissipate your wealth on riotous living. You rent some cheap rooms in Pelym.
