* Principal developer of a Chinese named entity (person and
place names, dates, amounts) extraction system.
* Wrote interfaces for and developed Chinese and English
language processing systems. Systems included a Chinese

and an English text parser.
* Created a Tcl/Tk tool for users to mark-up texts with
SGML. Tool became very popular with co-workers.
