Buried in Ness City Cemetery, Ness City, KS.<p>Pamela Temple Tynes was great granddaughter, and found this obituary for her:<p>Obituary (Ness Co News Sept 1908)<br>Mrs. Cora E Temple died at her home in Ness City, Kansas, last Thursday morning, Sept 3, 1908 at half past eleven. She was born at Bright Waters, Ark and was thirty-two years old at the time of her death. Quick consumption, contracted from measles settling on her lungs last spring, was the cause of death.<br>Mrs. Temple was married November 10, 1895 to Leonard J. Temple, who died October 31, 1903, in Ness City, Kansas, and to them was born one son, Lyle. On October 6, 1905 she was married to Floyd J Temple at Hill City, Kansas: to them was born a daughter Gwendolin. The father and two children, besides a number of other relatives, remain to mourn the loss of their loved one, and the sympathy of their friends is extended to them.<br>Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. O M Keve, of the Methodist church, and interment was made in the Ness City Cemetery. By 1900, she had had no children. Her parents were both from MO. She appears to be the daughter of Joseph E. and Mary R. Hill, of Hughes, Nodaway, MO, in 1880. Her reported death in 1908 does not match Floyd's claims in his WWI draft registration about her still being alive in 1918, but her obituary is quite clear on the fact that she was married to both Floyd and his cousin Leonard. There may be two different women named Cora who married Floyd. Since the family apparently escaped the 1910 census, it is hard to fill in the necessary details.
