Middle initial in 1905 was D, which is consistent with her death records that give her middle name as Diana.<p>There was a problem with the children listed in 1900. She claimed 8 children, with all surviving, but only 7 of the 8 children who appeared with her can be hers. The 8th child was Lewis (?) who was born Oct 1883, a date which is precluded by the birth dates of the other children. Whether he was adopted, a nephew, or whatever the relationship actually was, he does not seem to have been a natural child of John and Lenora Temple. That is in Lafayette County Marriage Book 5, p. 80. The source of the confusion is unknown, but may reflect a difference between a license date and the actual marriage date.
