However, Find-A-Grave shows the date in 1869, and then has to show she had her daughter when she was 13 years old. It is far more likely she was 23 years old at that birth, and 24 when she died. She died on 14 January 1884 at the age of 24 in Franklin Co., MS.<sup><a href="sources.htm#35176" class="lnk">35176</a></sup> Buried in Freeman Cemetery, Franklin Co., MS. She appeared in the census in June 1900 in Erata, Jones, MS.<sup><a href="sources.htm#15413" class="lnk">15413</a></sup> Amanda appeared in the census in June 1910 in Jones Co., MS.<sup><a href="sources.htm#35178" class="lnk">35178</a></sup> Some sources assign Almeda as the daughter of Needham and Mary (Corley) Temples, but this does not agree with the censuses. The same source says she was a Temple, which she apparently was not. The Freeman-Crockett genealogy says she died 14 Jan 1884, but that does not appear to be the case. I think that may be a confusion for the death of her unnamed Temple husband, because Almeda appears in a subsequent marriage and had children.<p>In 1900, her parents were both from MS. By 1900, she had had 4 children, all of whom survived. By 1910, she had had 7 children, 6 of whom survived.
