Surname in 1910 and in "Rise of the Temples" was Doherty, but was King in her son Eugene's death certificate informed by her husband. To make matters worse, her obituary said she was the sister of James N. and Raymond Moffett (and of course, they could be half-brothers or step-brothers.) The report of their wedding gave her maiden name as Daugherty.<br>By 1910, she had had 1 child, who did not survive. Birth records make the family even more confusing, though it is apparently the same family. Margaret had a son named William on 6 Feb 1908, which clearly conflicts with Eugene's birth date, but the birth record is clear that William's mother was Margaret Daugherty. William's father was Leroy, not Roy, but Leroy was born in Hopewell, PA, in 1883, and was a railroad fireman. There are too many nearly-the-same coincidences, and no other alternative families, for this to be a confusion with another line. Yet, there are some official record facts which conflict seriously. Her obituary named hser surviving sons Russell ane Edgar T. Temple.<br>Her obituary listed two grandchildren, Veva of Aliquippa, PA, and Robert of New Martinsville, WV.
