That does not seem to be the case, as she was alive enough in 1833 to file a lawsuit with her husband John Temple against John McNace. Some researchers claim she and her sister Elzara were not twins, but actually were one person with different spellings. This makes some sense, in that she and John Temple entered into a lawsuit against John McNace, the particulars of which are unimportant, but the date was 1833, so she was not dead in that year. The Order of the First Families of Mississippi includes only Elzara as the daughter of Richard and Nancy Coleman, and clearly considers the two women to be the same person.
