And like several of them, as an inconvenient witness, she was never called to testify before the Warren Commission. But several other eyewitnesses corroborated her statements.<p>"She, like several others, also saw an early missed shot - right after JFK's limo turned the corner onto Elm - that created what she thought at first was paper from an exploding firecracker, but soon realized it was a flash or sparks from a bullet hitting the pavement. Several other eyewitnesses, including a DPD motorcycle cop, Stavis Ellis, and a DPD officer, Foster, atop the Triple Underpass, also saw this same early, missed shot and "sparks", "dust" or "debris" thrown up from the pavement, and some also initially thought it was bits of paper, from a firecracker, until the other much louder shots hit their mark a few seconds thereafter.<p>"This early missed shot near Elm & Houston was contrary to the official theory put forth by the Warren Commission. In fact, there were at least 3 other missed shots reported to have hit the pavement, curbing or grass in Dealey Plaza - throwing up "sparks", "dust", or "debris" - seen and reported by multiple eyewitnesses, including the DPD motorcycle cop Stavis Ellis. One, chipped a curb and wounded bystander, James Tague, standing by the Overpass, on the cheek. He became the only other person wounded in the assassination.<p>"The eyewitnesses universally reported that these shots sounded different than the head shot and throat shot. The missed shots sounded low to the ground and were not nearly as loud as the other rifle shots. Again, the eyewitnesses to these missed shots corroborated each other.<p>"Mrs. Henderson and the others were in good company. Even Roy Kellerman, the Secret Service Agent in charge of protecting JFK - sitting in the front passenger seat, testified to the Warren Commission that at the time of the head shot "a flurry of shots" entered the limo."
