Buried in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill, CT. Her parents were from England (father) and Canada (mother).
In 1920, she was enumerated as the daughter of George I. and Catherine A. Carrier. Based on her claims for parental birthplaces, Catherine was not her mother, but George Carrier was her father.
John Leslie Temple, b 1921, was baptized John Francis Carrier. That creates a question of exactly who his mother was. Grace L. Maden, who was married to Anthony Matthew Temple, Sr., in 1926, according to the 1930 census, might be his mother in a previous marriage - but CT marriage records do not show a Grace Carrier marrying a Maden or Madden. That raises the question of why her daughter, June, has a middle name of Maden - was this a naming for Grace's maiden name, a common practice, or was it June's birth name, indicating Grace was married to a Maden before 1920, and she was later adopted by Anthony Temple? But there are other scenarios with different marriage combinations for Anthony and Grace, and that requires some research to figure out just what was going on. It also raises the question of whether Grace was, by a prior marriage, the mother of June, Phyllis, and Virginia, or whether some or all of them were Anthony's by some prior and as yet unknown marriage. At present, it appears that at least June may have been from a prior marriage, but then, why was John surnamed Carrier when he was baptized? Was he born out of wedlock, and baptized with his mother's maiden name? If so, then why was June, born before John, a Maden? Maybe some of the first four children were Temples, maybe a Carrier, maybe a Maden, and maybe some or all were adopted. Quite a mystery.

Spouse: MADEN-119132. Grace L. I can tell you that he did not die in 1702. His marriage to Susannah Carrington in 1680 is recorded in the Atworth Parish register. Also in that register is a baptism record for Anthony Temple (March, 1703) listing his parents as William and Dorchas Temple so this may be the name of the second wife. Just north of Atworth about 5 miles sits the Corsham Court Manorhouse and village where many Temples appear in the Corsham Parish Baptism and marriage records.
