Temple, or, as I have supposed here, that the year was actually 1927. This year conforms with her presence and subsequent absence in the city directories of Vineland.  However, her grave marker in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ, clearly says she died in 1917.  Her parents were both from NY in later censuses, but both from NJ in 1880.  By 1900, she had had 3 children, of whom all survived.  By 1910, she had had 4 children, 3 of whom survived.  She did not appear with her husband and daughter in 1920, and Charles claimed he was a widower in 1920.
