It's always intersting when sources radically disagree. Carl Pierce Temple definitely married Georgianna Stella White - attested to in SSACI and in the marriage records for their daughter Donna. Yet, the Newspaper article about their wedding said Georgianna's surname was Chapels, and that she was the daughter of Harley Chapels of South Barre, VT, and Mrs. Gertrude Leisenring of Downinton, PA. There was another newspaper report that Mr and Mrs John Leisenring of 1000 Meadow Lane - the address that Carl and Georgianna lived at after they returned from their honeymoon - announced the marriage of their daughter, Billie Chaples and Carl P. Temple on 28 Jan in Chesapeake City MD. These sources are all talking about the same groom, same marriage date, same marriage location - and very different brides.<br>It's hard to reconcile such disparate accounts, but one is backed by primary sources (that she was a White), and the other is noted for future reference.
