There was one Henry noted in the 1880 census, but he and his parents were all from LA and were in Lavaca Co., TX (though, apparently, that Henry also ended up in the Texas Penitentiary system from 1898-1900).<p>Elizabeth Crowley, a descendant of Henry, provided the following anecdote:<p>"There is a story where my Grandfather (Daniel Francis Crowley) says to my G.Grandma Temples (Sarah), 'I thought you said that your husband was *in* the Texas Rangers, not *caught* by them!.'"<p>Appears with the terminal S in 1920 and his marriage papers. Remarried in OK.<p>In his obituary, several of his survivors are unidentified as yet - they were Bobby W. Benton of Nicholsville, KY; Mrs. Dan Crowley of CA; Mrs. Bob Schenk, also of CA; and Mrs. Hary Dickey, also fo CA.<p>His obituary tied him to his brother, Robert Temples of Glover, OK, which ties Henry to the parents shown.  The obituary also ties him to Mrs. Parlee Gilbert, Mrs. Carried Hunter, and Mrs. Ella Pyle as his sisters.  Parents: <a href="b2581.htm#P91039" class="lnk">James W.
