The truck driver had given a fictitious name at the time of the accident and failed to remain at the scene of the accident until authorities arrived. There were two witnesses, both passengers in Temple's car, Miss Alberta Gray and Mr. R.M. Baker, both of Los Angeles.<br>His obituary said he was survived by his widow and an aunt, Mrs. Anna Pennington.
