Her parents were Frederick and Elizabeth Rauch.<p>He was not found in the 1920 census, even though it was conducted before he sailed for Europe.  He studied at the Sorbonne in 1920. Temple, b 1844, son of James and Frances Ann (Temple) Temple.<p>There is confusion over the family that is very hard to separate. Part of the problem comes from the similarity of his name to one of his sons, and the inconsistent reporting of the name Maurice and Morris. In 1900, he made no claim for his parentage.<p>He would appear to be the son of Thomas Temple, who died in Afton, IA in 1879.  He might have had an earlier marriage to Frances Furney. There were only two Thomases b 1857 OH in the 1860 census, and neither is a perfect fit for him.  There were no Thomases in 1860 with such a birth date in IA.
