A search for Rachel in 1870 with the only qualification being that she be found someplace in OH returned two females - one in Poland OH and the other in Loudonville, OH. The one in Loudonville was Rachel Donaldson, and she was married to Isaac Temple. The one in Polad, OH, was b 1806.<br>A search for Rachel, without restriction on date, found no females so-named in OH in 1880.<br>To be complete, there WAS a Tabitha Temple in OH - she was Tabitha Barton, who married D. Temple and had a daughter, Addie, in 1864, but her relationship to OH is tenuous at best, as she lived most of her life in KY. She did marry a Denham in OH abt 1881, but she is not really in the running to have married Luther Calvin.<br>When her daughter Sallie married Charles Patton, she said her mother's maiden name was Tempel.
