In 1940, he was enumerated living between William Henry and Emma Temple on one side, and Virgil David and Iva Temple on the other all of Eagle, Bradley, AR. He must be a close cousin of William Henry, who was the first son of Benjimin Lafayette and Sarah (Smith) Temple, who were too young to be the parents of Lee. He was old enough to be the son of William H. and Mary Jane (Baker) Temple, hence the confusion with their son Levi R. He may well fit there, but that requires proof. Another good alternative is that he was the eldest son of William T. and Dora G. (Mc Clain) Temple.<p>His unusual name appears in various forms, such as Levi Maltos Temple in SSACI.
