I believe that Richard S. Temple, enumerated in St. Bernard, Hamilton, OH, in 1930, was actually the son of Richard Sheldon Temple, probably by Annie Creasy. The latter Richard is the one who actually married Ruth Gardner, and died in Los Angeles in 1961. Furthermore, the children shown for Richard Sheldon are actually the children of his son, Richard.
Rise of the Temples gives a marriage to Ruth Gardner, and I think she married his son, Richard S.
Also, the husband of Jessie in 1910 was enumerated as Charles, ae 30. However, Jessie was the next of kin of Richard Sheldon Temple in 1918 in his WWI draft registration.
