His cemetery marker dated 27 Mar 1858 says he was ae 58y9m. If this seems confusing, the sources differ on his birth date as 4 Jul and 3 Nov. The majority seem to favor the 4 Jul date. It may be that there is some other Jonas b 3 Nov (maybe even in 1779?) with whom his birth date as been confused.
