The other James, trhe son of Henry and Mary (Elliott) Temple, is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, with a death date of 6 Oct 1872, but a birth year only. Military records seem to have confused the two of them. He was enumerated close by Israel and Cornelia (Hunt) Temple, and may be related to them, possibly their son. It probably comes through a sibling of John's father, James, but I have no information on James' parentage and siblings.
