Temple based on location and age.  The only Anna Hunt in either Elgin, IL, or Whiteside Co., IL, in 1940, was b 1881 in IA.  Those were the places cited for her residence in the newspaper announcement of their marriage.  Thus, the marriage of these two is circumstantial - a marriage took place, but whether it was these two or not requires a marriage certificate. There was one who was known as Jake and married Sarah Carr, and this one, Jacob Henry Temple, who went by Jack and was married to Mary Koster in 1905.  One of these two was enumerated as a crane factory laborer in 1910 - but the person enumerated also claimed to be single, which points to Jake Temple, leaving Jack Temple unenumerated.
