Temple, an inscription that usually means he died before maturity.  There were no Temples enumerated in Putnam Co., MO, in  either 1830 or 1840, so it was not possible to track down J.G. Temple. He lived in Toledo, Lucas, OH.<sup><a href="sources.htm#97534" class="lnk">97534</a></sup>  He was noted as a long time resident of Toledo.  Apparently, his family remained in Toledo as he went to stay in the Old Soldiers Home in Dayton.  Survived by a wife and 4 sons.  That means he is not likely to be George F.
