I believe much of his information was mistaken, and he was in error in his answers about his birth date and place of origin of himself and his parents.  There was an Elijah Elliot Temple, married to a Maggie, also in Hunt County, TX, but the two of these families never appeared in the same census.  Both men were farm laborers or farmers.  However, Elijah Temple did not have a daughter named Bonnie (his daughter was Elsie V.), and Elijah's other children who should have appeared in a 1910 census were absent.  It is possible that Elijah had a second wife, whom he married before 1918, and who might have been the mother of the other children enumerated with them in 1920.</p><p>Spouse: <a href="b101.htm#P140180" class="lnk">Maggie -140180</a>.
