However, Louisa claimed only to have had one child prior to 1910, so I cannot resolve the problem with present data. Elmer was the author of a genealogy of the descendants of Roderick Temple.<p>Elmer and Maggie were married in a Woodsman Hall in Rudy, Arkansas, witnessed by Bryn Webb, Grover Webb, and Anna Watson.<br>Elmer was born and raised on a farm.  They lived in Arkansas for 27 years.   In 1930 they moved and lived in several parts of Western Oklahoma.  There they did dairy farming and raised chickens.<br>In 1942 they sold their farm and loaded their furnishings and journeyed to the Evergreen State of Washington.  They bought a grade A Dairy farm at Sedro Woolley.  There they also raised chickens and did farming.<br>In 1947 they sold their farm and moved to Snohomish, Washington.  And went to work as a milk tester for D. H. J. A. and C. T. A. in Snohomish County.  He tested milk for 18 years then retired.<br>They kept busy doing gardening and had many beautiful flowers.  Elmer built a green house and  kept busy raising his on plants.  Maggie kept busy doing handiwork, making quilts, stuff animals, fancy pillows and dozens of other articles reflect her creativity.  She also made all of her clothes.<br>In 1965, Elmer started genealogy on the Temple family.  He did a lot of research and spent many hours doing this.  He wrote a book, Known Descendants of Roderick Temple, and was finished in 1973.   Elmer did a lot of corresponding to his family, always sending out birthday cards, and hardly ever missed anyone of his close friends and family on their birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion.<br>Due to their health, they sold their place on Ave. C in 1983 and moved into the new apartments at Beachwood at Warm Beach. They was there only for a short time.  They moved back to Snohomish in a rented house.  Still trying to manage a home and doing gardening.<br>In March of 1985, Elmer got Pneumonia and had a slight stroke.  He was admitted to Magdeline Villa Nursing Home in Marysville.  In a few days Maggie arrived, she could not take care of herself at home.<br>In July of 1986 they both was transferred to Parkway Nursing Home in Snohomish.  They celebrated their 75th Anniversary there.  They missed all the years attending the Free Methodist Church.  They hardly missed a Sunday until their health would not allow them to attend.    They resided there until their death.  Elmer was almost 97 years old when he went to be with the Lord.
