Julia was an infant, and seems related to the line of Jonathan H. and Catherine (Maltbie) Temple of Memphis, the only family of Temples having children at that time. Edward is too old to be her father, but could barely be the father of Jonathan, or more likely an elder sibling. But there is another solution to his identity.<p>His obituary of 21 Jun 1957 specifically named him the son of William and Elizabeth (Lanning) Temple.
