When I was in the 2nd grade in Minden, La, Mother took me and Robert to Maggie Rogers' house for the weekend. Maggie was Charles W's third wife. I always assumed she raised him because Mother (Allie Mae RINICKER TEMPLE) had told us that she was Dad's stepmother. (At age 7 or 8 you don't worry too much about those things but strangely enough I have vivid memories about things we did that weekend, the house, the barn, the truck, the toys, fishing, etc.) The fact is, Edgar was already an adult when Charles W and Maggie married." 11/22/2001 email Glenn Temple.<p>His parents were from LA (father) and AR (mother) in 1930. He appears to be Edgar Renfroe Temple, but I cannot correlate the Terrell grandparents with that family. If only on the basis of both having been in Columbia Co., AR and LA, he might also be the son of William Elijah Temple, but the Terrell surname for his mother creates a problem. A clue may be a misreading of his grandparents' names in 1910, where the grandmother was Pallie, which might be a misreading of Sallie. That may indicate that she remarried, and that would solve the surname problem.
