Drafted in the Army on 2 Feb 1942 as a private, but the location was undefined in military records. Served as a corporal. Service # 37104136. Earl was not that uncommon a name, and it is possible his service has been confused with another Earl Temple, whough which one would be hard to determine. The reason for associating his service number and enlistment date (the only facts in the induction records) with this Earl Temple is that his prior occumpation was working with lumber, and the induction records said his civilian occupation was in a sawmill. In February 1942 he was an unskilled sawmill worker.<sup><a href="sources.htm#58965" class="lnk">58965</a></sup> Earl died on 10 May 1981 at the age of 72 in Warren, Bradley, AR.<sup><a href="sources.htm#7523" class="lnk">7523</a>,<a href="sources.htm#91629" class="lnk">91629</a></sup> Buried in Oakland Cemetery, Warren, Bradley, AR.
